Actinic Keratosis

An Actinic Keratosis is a pre-cancerous lesion on the skin. It is a rough, scaly patch that develops after years of skin exposure. Actinic Keratoses are typically treated through Cryotherapy. Annual skin exams are recommended for all patients with extensive sun exposure, or with a family history of skin cancers.
