Excessive Sweating

Excessive sweating, called hyperhidrosis, is a difficult medical condition for millions of people worldwide. Hyperhidrosis occurs when a body’s sweat glands are overactive, causing overabundant sweat production that is not warranted by physical activity or emotional responses to stress. This condition is often characterized by inexplicably sweaty palms, embarrassing sweat rings, and dripping foreheads. Excessive sweating may also signal more serious medical conditions such as thyroid problems, low blood sugar, or other health problems.

Treatments available for Hyperhidrosis include medicated antiperspirants, medications, and Botox injections to the site of the overactive sweat glands.
